This scoping review analyzed 31 studies to determine how the COVID-19 pandemic influenced social media-based health promotion activities. The findings of this scoping review are that organizations and public health entities primarily used social media to disseminate COVID-19 related health communication and education.

This artifact was chosen specifically due to the complexity in writing a scoping review and to highlight Michael's ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop a high quality report.

​The purpose of this paper is to discuss the pervasive issue of workplace bullying within the context of emergency department nursing. The application of transformational leadership is supported by academic literature to mitigate workplace bullying. Recommendations grounded in scientific research are presented with applicable transferability by stakeholders.

This artifact was selected to highlight the effectiveness that transformational leadership has on various situations, including bullying, as it is the leadership style that Michael tries to emulate.

The purpose of this concept analysis is to analyze the concept of transformational leadership framework in the context of nursing within the ICU. The aim of this concept analysis is to provide a distinct identity to ICU nurses who exhibit or are supported by transformational leadership and how it can positively enhance their abilities to carry out their roles to aid patients who are admitted to the ICU.

This artifact was selected as this concept analysis of transformational leadership of nurses working in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is important to Michael as this is both his leadership style of choice as well as his area of clinical expertise. No concept analysis was found prior to this report that had defined the concept of transformational leadership within the context of ICU nursing.

The purpose of this consultant report on preceptorship and mentorship was to investigate nursing opinions on this topic who work at Grey Bruce Health Services. The intention was to develop a survey that could be distributed to all nurses within the corporations so that insight from front-line nurses could be utilized to develop preceptorship and mentorship programs and strategies for both new nurses and nurses in new practice areas.

This artifact was chosen to be presented in this e-Portfolio as it is a representation of work completed by Michael in his final Knowledge Synthesis placement in his Masters at Western. This consultant report shows that Michael can work collaboratively with professionals in the healthcare setting to develop an effective survey tool and to develop retention strategies for new nurses.
